Today, like every Thursday, we’d like to share a healthy recipe with every SHA Magazine reader 🙂

Today’s recipe is a simple Tomato free Guacamole recipe that, besides of being delicious, provides plenty of nutrients to our body.

Why tomatoes free guacamole? Tomatoes contain solanine, an alkaloid produced as a natural plant defense to protect the animals that consume and destroy it. Its consumption makes our energy dispersed and manifest as weakness, cold, joint pain and skin problems.

The main ingredient in this recipe is avocado, a unique fruit with amazing health benefits. It’s rich in vitamins B, C, E, K, potassium, phosphorus, copper, magnesium, zinc… It’s a powerful antioxidant and alkalizing that provides lots of fiber, helps prevent cancer and although many people are afraid of its amount of fat, just like olive oil, it contains monounsaturated fats that help lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and raise the good (HDL) helping protect the heart and coronary diseases. Get ready to prepare it!

 

Ingredients

  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Avocados – 4 pieces
  • Onion – 1/2 piece chopped
  • Lemon juice – A splash
  • Coriander and chives chopped
  • Sea Salt

 

 

Preparation

  • Crush the garlic and salt in a mortar.
  • Cut the avocados in half and separate them.
  • Remove all the pulp and place them in a bowl.
  • Mix the pulp with garlic, onion, salt and lemon juice.
  • Decorate it on the top with the chopped cilantro and chives.

 

 

This healthy guacamole recipe is perfect to combine with toasts, salads, pasta or as a garnish of many dishes. Dare to incorporate avocado in your eating routine, a superfood that will give you health and vitality. You won’t regret!
