Reiki healing
Reiki means “Universal energy” in Japanese but… what is reiki? Reiki is an energy natural therapy originating from Japan which channels human energy through the hands of an expert or reiki master on the energy centres or “chakras” to eliminate certain pains by balancing the mind, body and emotions, thus achieving harmonious energy in a holistic sense.

Originary from Japan, the Reiki healing is always looking for encompassing body, mind and spirit in a holistic way.
Asians have been using the techniques we now understand as reiki massage for over 3,000 years, but it was not until 1920 when the Japanese monk Usui decided to teach Reiki to his disciples, becoming who is considered the first reiki master.

Reiki therapy has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an alternative therapy and is practiced in some hospitals and centers of excellence to relieve chronic pain as an adjunct to many Western treatments and medical therapies. In fact, in some places like the United Kingdom reiki is included in the public health system and in the state of New York reiki is even used in the medical emergency services.
