Medical Consultation

General Medical Consultation: Full assessment of your health status, with particular emphasis on those areas that can bene t from our treatments and services. It is complemented by a physical examination.

Treatment Validation Consultation: A mandatory medical check-up prior to certain treatments that require professional validation. Essential for patients not undergoing a General Medical Consultation.

Cardiology Consultation: Evaluation of the state of your heart, including an electrocardiogram and an ultrasound of the heart, to measure the state of your heart valves and the general functionality.

Urology and Andrology Consultation: Complete urology health check, including the important prostate exam, to diagnose and treat any urinary system disorders.

Gynaecology Consultation: Comprehensive gynaecological examination including Pap culture, performance of a gynaecological ultrasound and breast review.

Traumatologist Consultation and Back Treatments: Evaluation of back problems in order to prescribe the most suitable treatment according to the condition or disorder.

General Health Consultation: Consultation with a nurse consisting of a series of tests to compile important information about your health.

Electrocardiogram: The electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) graphically represents the electric activity of the heart for interpretation by your doctor. This kind of medical health service provides us with very useful information for interpreting chest pain or discomfort, gives indications for trying to find the cause of the symptoms of heart disease as well as increasing the general health of your heart.

Carotid Ultrasound:A study using ultrasound to measure the thickness of the atheromatous plaque deposited on the inside of the carotid arteries.

Spirometry: Evaluation of the condition of the lung function.

Holter Blood Pressure Monitoring: A system that measures and records the heart’s activity continuously for 24 to 48 hours. It creates a picture of your blood that is evaluated by a specialist to determine the health of your heart.

Magnetic resonance: Non-invasive technology used to give a detailed and accurate diagnosis of the patient’s condition, without using radiation. The open MRI system of SHA is more comfortable than the closed traditional MRI systems, because it decreases the feeling of claustrophobia and anxiety.
